A Journey of People, Possibilities and Positive Energy
My journey began as a DJ and emcee, where I discovered how voice, music, creativity and energy could bring people together. I learned to read a room, think on my feet and connect with people in the moment.
My love for connecting with people also found its way into education and television. One of the highlights was being the Educational Consultant and Host of CLUB M.A.G.I.C., a pioneering preschool television series in Singapore.
For much of my first 20 years, I worked with children, parents and educators as an independent educator, creating and facilitating my own programmes. I loved bringing together music, movement, drama, yoga, NLP and positive psychology in creative ways to make learning engaging and meaningful.
What I learned from children still shapes how I connect with adults today.
As my work grew, so did the people I worked with. From classrooms and family programmes to businesses, leadership teams and professional communities, I've continued exploring what helps people communicate, connect and bring out their best.
Coaching has also become an important part of my work. I enjoy those deeper conversations, helping people understand themselves, recognise their strengths, find their voice and discover their own way forward.
My experience in speaking and event hosting has taught me how much our presence, voice and energy can influence the people around us. Sometimes, a small shift in how we communicate can change the whole conversation.
Alongside all this, I've spent years building Positive Focus®, creating my own opportunities, learning through challenges and finding new ways to bring ideas to life.
Today, whether I'm speaking, coaching, facilitating, teaching or hosting an event, one of my greatest joys is seeing people connect, recognise their strengths and discover what they're capable of.

Where Mindset, Movement and Joy Meet
I've always believed there are many ways to learn.
My years working with children taught me that creativity, movement, music and energy can make a real difference to how people engage and learn.
That curiosity led me to explore different disciplines and create programmes that bring together education, positive psychology, NLP and mind-body practices.
My approach to well-being brings together mind, body, emotions and energy, helping people become more aware of how they care for themselves, manage their responses and communicate with themselves and others.
I came to realise that what works for one person may not work for another. There isn't only one way to learn, lead or reach a goal.
That's why I enjoy finding different ways to help people connect with what they're learning, discover their strengths and put what they know into practice.
I believe creativity, energy and connection have a place wherever people learn and grow, whether that's in a classroom, a workplace, a business or on stage.
This thinking is at the heart of Energy in Education™ and C.R.E.A.T.E. Self-Leadership™.
For me, learning should open up new choices and possibilities, leaving people feeling hopeful, capable and confident to move forward.

The Lessons That Shaped Me
My experience as a single mother, raising a child with learning challenges while building a business, has taught me a great deal about patience, resilience, managing my emotions and finding different ways forward.
My own journey as an adult learner has shaped me just as much.
I wasn't particularly fond of school when I was younger. It was only later, as an adult learner, that I discovered how much difference the right teacher, coach or mentor could make.
I learned something that has stayed with me:
Our past does not have to determine our future.
We don't all learn the same way, and we don't have to follow the same path to reach our goals. Sometimes, we simply need someone who sees our strengths, believes in our potential and helps us find a way that works for us.
I've had my share of mistakes, setbacks and fresh starts. Over time, I've learned to turn those experiences into lessons I can share with others.
Perhaps that's why authenticity matters so much to me. I've always valued being myself, even when I didn't quite fit the mould.
Today, one of my greatest joys is seeing people discover their strengths, connect with others and grow into more of who they are.

What Guides Us
Communication. Self-Leadership. Edupreneurship.
These three pillars guide our work at Positive Focus®.
Communication
How we speak, listen and connect influences our relationships, our confidence and the people around us.
Self-Leadership
Understanding ourselves, making thoughtful choices and learning how to respond when life doesn't go according to plan.
Edupreneurship
Bringing creativity, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset into education, professional learning and the way we create opportunities for ourselves and others.
At the heart of it all is a belief in kindness, empathy and the strengths within every person. When people feel supported and valued, they have more room to learn, grow and bring out their best.
C.R.E.A.T.E. Self-Leadership™
A framework I developed from my experiences in education, communication, coaching and life.
C.R.E.A.T.E. Self-Leadership™ encourages us to understand ourselves, take ownership of our choices and keep growing through the different seasons of life.
It's a reminder that we can learn from our experiences, use our strengths and make choices that move us forward.
"Every moment with Has and her amazing teachers is precious. These are professionals with heart in all that they do and they walk the talk!"

Positive Focus® continues to grow through collaboration, fresh ideas and shared experiences.
